I'm working on something...

Ok, for several months I've been tossing the idea back and forth in my head to blog about our family's 'process' with Sensory Processing Disorder. My one big thing holding me back???? Is that I can't think of a name for it...silly, I know, but it's true. Also, it would mean putting absolutely everything and every truth of what I've been thinking down where others could read it. You might think if that was an issue for me, then don't do it....However, this is such a relatively new developemental issue in kids(it's finally being addressed and talked about) that there are not many resources out there for parents. I know, I've looked. The best place to be right now, is, go figure...Denver, Co!! :) They have the best center for therapy and community for everyone affected in the country. Ok..I'm drifting....my point being...I decided to say that I am going to start a new blog about our 'journey'(that sounds way to cheesy for me)...with Josh and SPD. I know most of you might not have even known he was diagnosed with it....So, to push myself and tell others that I'm going to do it...will hopefully make me act faster. It's something that I truly want to do for myself, mostly, and for others who are just starting to research about it...Hopefully they will google SPD and my new blog will show up for them as a way to feel not so alone in it all...especially during the times when they would tell someone about SPD and they look at you like you're crazy!! :) So, I added 3 links on the right side of this blog to explain what it is and soon, I'll have the other blog up and running. Until then, I'm sorry if I've totally confused you, but, I feel better!! HA :)
