Pictures of Josh...

Well, I was playing with Josh today and he was so darn cute that I finally went and found my camera!! I took alot...so, I've done three posts tonight!! :) If you notice some yellow on the left side of his face...he has two bruises healing...one on his forehead and one under his eye!!! He's tough...and still trying to develop better coordination!!

As you can see, Josh is pulling himself up on things very easily now. We are downstairs still and I was putting one of his green blocks in the box!! He likes to reach for it... "Hmmmm...that block looks yummy....I wonder if I can reach it!" "Aha! I got the block....now what?!??!"

The pictures from the first two posts as well as these were taken in Josh's play area downstairs. It's suppose to be a dining room area, but...one of nana's great points while she was here......."Who says it has to be a dining area?"...duh, is what eric and I thought!!! So, we aren't putting a table there and I'm looking for some chairs to put by the bay window!! The last picture is Josh climbing in my lap...it's blurry, but you can see his 7 teeth!!

The movers are gone...

I still don't have any pictures and it's been an exhausting week, but very, very fun!!! My mom came out on Saturday to hang out with Josh so that Eric and I could paint and help out with the movers unpacking. I'm not sure we would be as settled as we are right now if she hadn't been able to come stay! The movers came Monday and unloaded the truck and unpacked all the boxes...they couldn't put stuff away, but they took all the paper and boxes back with them, so that was a huge help! They've been gone now for 72 hours and my mom has been gone about 36 hours and I'd have to say that we're doing awesome!!! We love our home and the neighborhood...there's a ton of military families that it almost feels like we are living on base! We leave again next week to go back to Toledo for Eric's graduation and I will have pictures up before we go!! I think we are all adjusting well... actually, Gidget is a little confused and nervous, but each day she calms down a bit. That's all for now!! We made it to Illinois...

Well, what normally takes 8 hours to drive, took us about 10 1/2 hours!! Between Josh, Gidget, both of us driving a car(I had Josh, Eric had Gidget), and then having to weigh our cars somewhere along the route...it was a long day. But, when we got to our hotel room last night we didn't feel completely drained...we're just excited for tomorrow. We close on our house at 11 tomorrow morning...and then the fun really begins...we move in!!! Hopefully I'll have some pictures by the end of the weekend!!

Tomorrow is moving day...

Hello! Our home is in organized chaos....the movers will be here tomorrow at eight in the morning...we have to let them pack our stuff....then on Tuesday they load the truck and leave...and so on Wednesday we will follow!!! We close on our new home on Friday and then start the moving in process!! Pretty much, I won't be doing a post for the next week because I won't have access to my computer! Have a wonderful week and I'll have some pictures of our new home soon!!! :)

I love this first picture!! I don't know how we timed it, but Eric was holding him up behind and I took the picture...we were still at COSi when we took this!! The second picture is when we were watching the bridge being raised to let the barge through. The last two are after we ate down at the docks!! We had very yummy seafood!!

At COSi with Bryan...

Toledo has one of those awesome kids' science centers right on the river and so we took Josh there with Bryan. It was really fun, especially since we went on a Tuesday and no one else was there!! Josh had fun crawling around(they have a baby zone just for his age group)! Eric and Bryan had a great time too though, they entertained Josh as well!! The last two pics are of them riding a bike on a tight rope!! :)

Bryan's visit...

When Bryan got here, Lee and Bill also came up for the day! We went to the zoo, which was alot of fun...except it was the first nice day on a weekend for Toledo..and I think every stroller, cart, and wagon in the city was there too!!! Anyways, the first picture is of Josh and Eric watching the seals and then Josh falling asleep at the zoo. The last two are just cute...with Gidget! :)

Last Florida Post...

Our last night in Florida we had dinner over at Kim and Hugh's! It was a good time and Josh got to meet Brittany(eric's cousin)...so, it was a great last night!! As you can tell in the last picture, Josh was tired from all his swimming and couldn't stop yawning!! :)

While we were in Florida, Josh got to go in a pool for the first time!! We thought he'd like it since he loves his baths so much...and we were right....he thought the pool was one big bathtub just for him!! (the pool was heated too) He really loved all the splashing!!
