I know....
The last post was all about Sam too...
I guess that's what happens when it's March?!?! ;-)
Don't worry...I'm working on other posts too! :)
So, let me just go ahead and get started here...
Sam's actual birthday is not until Wednesday, but that's during spring break and she asked to have her party at the Little Gym! We love them there and in fact we had
Josh's 5th Birthday Party there too!
The one minor difference here is that, well, Sam is a girl...and, wow, she's only turning 4, but this girl KNOWS what she wants and knows WHO she wants to invite! The party package includes up to 20 kids. We invited 20 kids(her preschool class is AWESOME, so we had to invite them all...right?!?) Anyways, I was expecting several "no" rsvps....and, that didn't happen. We had one invite say they wouldn't be able to make it...yes, that's right...there were 20 kids at this party. It was crazy FUN!
We are walking out the door and she's a bit excited!
She asked me to make a cookie cake..."chocolate chip cookie with chocolate icing"
It was delicious! (even if it wasn't that pretty!)
Sarah and the boys came down early and helped me finish getting everything ready.
And the party starts..
Nana and Papa made it down!
There was just as many 'adults' as there were kids!
They played lots of games...
they even blew bubbles INSIDE!
So sweet!
They are sitting on the "air track" that blows up and you jump all the way down from end to end!
Cake time!!!
After the party ended...she wore her hat pretty much the rest of the day...
We didn't open presents at the party because, well, that would have been CRAZY! We went back to the house and we were accompanied with Nana, Papa, Sarah, Mason, Riley, AND the best friends ever from "Boulder"...Thomas, Kristen, Katin, and Aubrey
John, Lindsey, McKenna, and Cooper!
This was from Riley...he picked it out all by himself...and she was thrilled! Now she can play this summer with all the boys up in Estes Park as well as with her Grandpa who's in Ohio!
She was determined to go throw the ball...and the only one she wanted to do that with was Papa...
Ya know...I think she pulls off throwing a ball in a tutu quite well...
So...I just had to include all of these...we were attempting at getting a group shot...and I think the wrangling of all the kids is more entertaining than the actual picture! :)
Oh..Cooper...Cooper is his own man... ;-)
Oh..Josh had his camera and wanted to take some too..
After this photo shoot we all went to dinner! It was wonderful, crazy(have I said that already?), blessed, and delicious!!
