Happy Birthday to Eric....(and me)....

Eric's birthday was a couple of weeks ago. He turned the big 28!! :) His birthday was during the week, so when he got home from work I had surprised him with Josh!! :) Uh, what?? What am I talking about....well, Eric hates wearing turtlenecks and so, that has been projected onto his son. I've randomly told this to my sister Sarah a long time ago and she remembered. A couple of days before Eric's birthday I got in the mail a blue turtleneck for Josh from his Aunt Sarah..(as a joke of course, well, partly)!! :) Anyways, I put it on Josh so he'd look very handsome when he told his dad Happy Birthday(uh, in Josh's language)....The first picture is Eric realizing what Josh is wearing...I got a good laugh out of it and so did Sarah! Actually, I think Josh pulls off a turtleneck quite well!! The 3rd picture of him eating, he's doing the chicken dance because he's eating chicken!! Josh has picked up food dances from his mom...when I get excited about eating, I tend to start dancing...this has been known to happen to my sisters as well...anways...he saw the chicken, got excited, and started dancing!! We did go out to a very nice dinner at Paolo's at the Mansion, it was so yummy...and I probably did a little jig when my food came out!! Josh had a good night as well...he hung out with his friends Jason and Becca McCarthy!! :) The last couple of pictures are of my birthday present from Eric! Yes, my birthday is in July, but he had given me tickets to the CU vs Mizzou football game which was a couple of weeks ago. Columbia, Mo is a couple hours away and we weren't going to take Josh. So, Josh's grandma and grandpa came for a quick visit and to hang out with him on Saturday so Eric and I could go to the game!! We had a great time...although, if you follow college football, you probably know that the shalacking CU received from Mizzou that night was not pretty. The scoreboard says 21 - 0 after the 1st quarter....the end score was 58 - 0 Mizzou...not good at all, but we had awesome seats and it made me realize how much I miss going to the games!!
