Can you believe this??? I've been asking myself this all day....it's been a wonderful day...celebrating Josh!! Watching him today surrounded by his friends and family was a pure gift to ME! I don't go back there often...well, atleast, not for too long...but, when I go back 4 years ago and really put myself back into my shoes...my heart gets heavy and I have to take a long, slow, deep breath. So...then, I quickly regroup and am in awe of my son. He has worked so hard....his mind is always going.....he's always thinking.....and the love and sweetness that pour out of his heart(which, there was a time I wasn't sure he'd ever be able to communicate it)...it is such a blessing to be a witness to it. Thank you, Lord...for all the people You've put into his life at just the right time and for Your perfect plan for Josh...and to Josh...you constantly challenge me to become a better person...I love you and am SO PROUD of YOU!!!
Alright...well...now, let's get to the party part! :) I think I've blogged about Angry Birds in the past...but, this game has become a favorite of Josh's. So...Eric and I surprised him with our house feeling like you walked into an Angry Birds' game when he woke up! HA! :)- We decorated it all last night!! This morning my parents, my sister's family, and Josh's good friends from his school came over to play and eat!!!! The pictures speak for themselves...
