One of the more entertaining things we did this summer was going to the Renaissance Festival! We have heard and seen signs for this event that goes on ALL summer long in Larkspur. It took some friend's of ours and military day to get us there....We got there right when it opened because we heard as the day progresses and the sun sets...it get a little unruly! ;-)
Here are Josh and Sam at the entrance....but, really, for a boy and girl who love knights and princesses...it was definitely a fun time!

We saw a couple of acts...one being a magician,
During our time there we saw TWO parades!
They went through a maze that ended with a slide down!
I thought this was going to be big hit... they had jousting and knights and princesses.....it was entertaining....but, they enjoyed our last act that we saw the best...
BIG CATS! It was pretty fun watching them jump and climb.
On our way out we saw the other parade....the kids' eyes were HUGE as they took it all in....while holding their corn on the cob. We did also see a man who ate fire....I think they asked alot of questions after that one...
Overall, I'm so glad we went....and I'm very thankful for the friends who helped make it happen! :)
