10th MDG Picnic!

Every summer the entire 10th Medical Group (USAFA Hospital) has a picnic out at the FamCamp site on base. This was actually the first time I was able to go since we've been here and it really was a great time! I packed us our own picnic but there was alot going on that we didn't really stop to eat.

 First stop....was face painting! She waited SO patiently and it was SO hot that day!

 They had races with the different teams being different departments...Sam; she's a team of one. No fear.

 They had a water dunk booth...but, please, pay close attention to where the water came out from.

 They both enjoyed this, immensely. Samantha was d e t e r m i n e d to get this Colonel wet!

 Next, it was on to the bounce houses! They spent so much time in these too. We were also right next to a playground that they ran around for what seemed like forever!

 Awwww....yes, now we are on to the music part! They had a dj and music going and then after everyone ate it turned into karaoke! I remember sitting over at one of the tables with Eric and some co-workers just talking and such...the next thing I realized was that I didn't know where exactly the kids were...then, at the same time I heard cheering, laughing, and clapping...yeah...they had joined the dancers....(Josh first) ;-)

 Seriously, sometimes I'm in awe that they are my children.

The last event was the tug o war! This went pretty quickly!! HA!  But, fun nevertheless....

 We really are blessed with some awesome friends that work with at the USAFA Hospital!!! This will be a super tough place to leave in 9 months(if we have to!)
