Pittmans, Boyles, and Robinsons...

One of the very many blessings of living in Colorado Springs is that we get visitors! Our great friends, the Robinsons, were in town last month visiting Brook's family...and I am very happy that her family lives here too! :-) She is one of my best friends from college and her husband, Matt, is one of Eric's from the Academy. They were actually roommates during basic. Anyways, our other great friends from college live about an hour away and they came down for the afternoon...it was awesome! Brook and Lindsay were roommates in college as well, but at CU Boulder, not the Academy! ;) Anyways...8 years ago we were childless...and now...this is "us"...

San Diego...

Eric got home on a Friday night and we left tuesday morning for a week of fun in San Diego. We had received some great advice to LEAVE as soon as Eric got back. I'm so thankful we did this trip! Josh, Sam and I have had our routine for over a year and it was a bit obvious that their dad had been gone and it was harder trying to 'fit dad in'!(no offense eric)....So, by leaving and getting all out of routine for a week, getting readjusted to having him around, and then we returned home with a new routine and our family dynamics more in place than when we left! Plus, we had an AWESOME time!!!!
