About a month ago, Eric had to go to San Antonio for a week of training. Fortunately for Josh and Sam....Nana came and...oh my, SO THANKFUL she did!!! :-) I can't believe I haven't written this down yet, so, now I'm probably going to miss a few details, but...overall, the 4 nights that Nana was here, were quite eventful! As I can remember, we had a nice Saturday night, nothing too odd...Oh, I guess I should back pedal a minute....this week that Eric was in San Antonio was the first time Josh was away from his dad for more than 30 hours or so...Eric is his 'rock' as I like to say and so, I had everyone I knew praying for all of us that week. I mean, Josh is sensitive to even a minor difference in routine(as in having to go a different way to speech) and having dad gone for a week was a real test! It was actually super bowl weekend. We were expecting snow starting Monday and so my mom and I stopped at Panera for some soup and goodies(I'm thankful we did because I think that lasted us for the next 3 days!) HA! I was looking forward to having my mom around because she was going to be able to see what are 'normal' routine is during the week and to meet some of Josh's therapists that I talk about so much. To make a really long story short...Sam ended up throwing up Monday evening(on our white rug in the playroom), then Josh threw up Monday night all over his bed, we had alot of snow and Tuesday morning...everything was thrown off schedule. Our ABA therapist didn't come, oh and on Monday...Josh's OT therapist came at a different time...Josh wasn't eating, Sam started climbing(see pictures), Eric got delayed for 36 hours(who knew the day he'd fly through Dallas, they would receive their largest snowfall in 24 hrs EVER!), I vaguely remember the Super Bowl, and I know there are so many more minute details that drew out the week even longer, but, we survived!!! and we are now stronger! right?!?! :-) Here are some pictures of the climbing...some playing around....some with Nana!
