Some good news...

On Tuesday mornings at 11 Josh has had speech for the last 8 or so months. His speech therapist has been right on with the specific issues we need to help Josh through. She knows we are moving next month and wanted to make sure we had an up to date evaluation on Josh that we could take with us. She said she'd start it today and then finish it next week...well, when she came back to get me her exact words were, "He did Aweeeesome! He scored ABOVE average on alot of it" I seriously didn't know how to take it....this was good news...wait, good news...yes, it still does exist!!! It's weird...I mean, to have news like this is incredible!! She went over the eval with me and showed me his strengths and there are obviously still some pronunciations issues she's concerned with and then mainly his conversation skills/expressing emotions...things we know about and are consistent with his other issues....but, speech/language wise...this kid has come LEAPS and BOUNDS to where he was 8 months ago and looking over his old eval!!! It's just...simply...rewarding, affirming, the push I need to keep going right now...Thank you Lord!!!
