Well, Josh had his 4 month check up today. Everything is great...except Josh is not very happy right now. I have observed that everyone who meets Josh says one of two things...'Wow, he's so cute and he looks just like Eric' or'Wow, he is a very happy baby.' If you were to meet Josh today, you might not think either of those. Perhaps, "Wow, he's really cranky when he's tired, hungry, and has just seen the doctor and there is nothing you can do to make him happy...that reminds me of Laura!' So, as you can gather, it has been a rather exhausting day. He had his shots this morning around 11 and the past 6 hours have gone by in a blur. Lucky for me, unfortunately for Eric, he has been around to help me today. I suppose these are the days you are happy they don't remember when they grow up, although, I wish I could forget it too. I kept telling him that I'd buy him a milkshake of his choice from Sonic....if he was older and if there was one within 300 miles of Toledo!! For some reason, that just didn't make him feel any better!! You might be wondering how I have the time to post this today, but, it's because Josh finally fell asleep about 10 minutes ago and I needed to clear my head. He normally loves his crib, mobile, and everything to do with nap time..I mean, he is the son of Eric and I. Today, not so much. Before he fell asleep, I believe he tried to send me some sort of message. He had been crying for about 5 minutes, I came in to check on him, and this is what I found. His mobile kicked almost off his crib and only 2 of the animals left hanging on it, with one arm over his eyes. I started laughing because I got the message loud and clear. He was not happy, sore from his shots, tired, and wanted to be left alone and no freakin' thing hanging over his head was gonna help him!! :) Oh, he makes me laugh!!!!
